The City of Edmonton has a new mobile parking payment system, hosted by
HotSpot Parking. Customers can pay by scanning the QR code with their mobile device, visiting
htsp.ca/ed, or using coins or credit cards at the machine.
Customers who had $25 or more in their EPark account will have their account automatically transferred over to the HotSpot app between now and May 15. These users will be notified by the City via email when their account is ready, and this email will have instructions on how to reset their password and access their account. On May 15 the app will be available for download and individuals who didn’t have an account transferred can set up an account.
The MyEPark app has been deactivated and the City is asking users who had less than $25 in their account to request a refund before June 30, 2024 at
edmonton.ca/epark. City staff are working to address the backlog of refund requests and appreciate customers’ patience. Users who have an outstanding request that is more than three weeks old can send a follow up inquiry with the original reference number to
epark@edmonton.ca.
On May 15, all users can download and create an account with the HotSpot app. The app will not be mandatory, and those who wish to pay without creating an account can continue to do so via the FastTap function, at
htsp.ca/ed, or by using coins or credit cards at the machine. Please note that users will not be subject to additional fees such as service charges or membership fees.
HotSpot offers 24/7 customer service which is available on their website,
htsp.ca/contact and customers can call 311 if they encounter issues with the EPark pay machines.
Existing EPark rates, zones, and time limits remain in effect.
