New EPark App launches today
May 15, 2024

Effective today, Edmontonians can start using the HotSpot App to pay for EPark across the city. The new app is easier, quicker and more convenient to use, with features and improvements based on customer feedback. The app will be added to other payment options available to customers - using FastTap, coins or credit cards at the EPark machines, or paying online at htsp.ca/ed.

Jenny Albers, General Supervisor of Planning and Permitting, says “We are happy to announce that the HotSpot app is now available in Edmonton. We think customers will find it easy to use and this addition completes the suite of tools that residents and visitors can choose from to pay for parking. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the transition period and hope the new system meets your expectations”.

  • Customers who had $25 or more in their MyEPark account have had their funds moved to HotSpot. These customers can use the email address they used for their old MyEPark account to set up an account in HotSpot and the funds will be available in a virtual wallet immediately. These customers will then be set up to use the app. Customers who had less than $25 in their old account can request a refund before June 30, 2024 at edmonton.ca/epark
  • Individuals who have not had an account balance over $25, transferred can now create an account through the app or online at htsp.ca/ed
  • To request a corporate account, please email support@htsp.ca with the name and email address of your account administrator. The HotSpot team will reach out to help get your account set up.
  • Customers who use monthly parking can now apply for and manage their permit through htsp.ca/ed or via the app in the ‘Permit Portal’ section.
  • Those who do not wish to use the app or create an account can continue to pay via the FastTap function, at htsp.ca/ed, or by using cash or credit cards at the machine.

HotSpot offers 24/7 customer service which is available on their website (htsp.ca/contact) or via phone at 1-855-712-5888. Customers can continue to contact 311 if they encounter issues with the EPark pay machines.

Existing EPark rates, zones, and time limits remain in effect.
