Boise School District to Dedicate

Dallas Harris Elementary School

Boise, ID -- 04/25/2024 -- Boise School District is proud to announce the Dedication and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the new Dallas Harris Elementary School. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the school's location on 3302 South Barnside Way in Boise, Idaho. The school is named after Dallas Harris, a former rancher in Boise's Barber Valley who founded his family's ranch on their values of stewardship, preservation, and quality of life. The values that Dallas Harris lived by still hold relevance today and are reflected in the school's philosophy. We invite all members of the community to join us for this momentous occasion, as we celebrate the opening of this new school and honor the legacy of Dallas Harris. Attendees are encouraged to dress in western or rancher-themed attire as a tribute to Dallas Harris and to add to the celebratory atmosphere of the occasion.
