Activation of the South Side of the Stream

Last month on the south side of the stream we opened two new trails, installed two benches, stream information signs, a lending library, and planted a Wildflower Meadow. This tranquil and peaceful location offers space for mindfulness, reading, and exploration. The Kiosk bench provides a great space for viewing train activity and the hike through a wooded trail from McIntire Park Skatepark is more vigorous and full of the sights and sounds that only nature can provide. Check out the hard work of our volunteers and our Landscape Manager, Patrick Morrissey!

You can access the south side via McIntire park by traveling over the pedestrian bridge near the skatepark and turning left downhill to follow the wooded path parallel to the train tracks to the Garden.
