A Message from Our Executive Director

Hello Friends and Supporters!

Please help me welcome our new Administrative Assistant, Heather McQueen. Heather rejoins Friendly Harbor after spending time as a support agent for the Colorado 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We are grateful to have her experience with mental health support and her administrative skills. You'll see her talent at work on this newsletter!

If you have time, join us tomorrow for the Mental Wellness Block Part. We will be at the El Pueblo History Museum from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. We'd love to see you there!

Thank You and Be Well,

Michelle Hill

Can you help us?

Our grill is going out of service! We host free, open to the public barbeques each month during the summer and we would like to upgrade! If you can donate to our grill project, we and the community we serve would be grateful!

In The Community

Located at 301 Union Ave in Pueblo, our friends, the El Pueblo History Museum, are hosting our Mental Wellness Block Party! Mark your calendars for July 27th.

We are going to bring folks together, have food and live music to promote mental wellness in Pueblo. The event is free to attend and is sure to be a good time!

El Pueblo History Museum showcases the region’s many cultural and ethnic groups through innovative exhibits including the Borderlands of Southern Colorado, and Steel City: 1980-2004.

Friendly Harbor is the go-to place in Southern Colorado for mental wellness and recovery support. We are a peer-run organization that connects community members who are experiencing mental health and substance use issues with the information, emotional support, and the referrals they need to live full, satisfying lives.
