New Product: Vegan Brioche Bites and Buns From Ozery Bakery
Ozery Bakery, a family-owned company that uses real, premium ingredients to create quality bread products launched its Vegan Brioche Bites and Buns at this year's Winter Fancy Food Show. Vegan Brioche Bites and Buns have the same taste and indulgent texture as a traditional Brioche, but butter, milk, and eggs are replaced with plant-based ingredients. The result is an incredibly soft and fluffy brioche-style bread with a slight sweetness that is perfect for burgers or toasted with jam and a bite-sized version of is great for snacking or as a small complement to any dish. Like all Ozery Bakery products, Vegan Brioche Bites and Buns are non-GMO and free of artificial preservatives. They will retail for $4.59 - $4.99.
2018 Sweets & Snacks Expo Grows Global Footprint
Confectionery and snacks from more than 25 different countries will be on display at the 2018 Sweets & Snacks Expo the largest number of countries ever to showcase products at the trade show. Hosted by the National Confectioners Association from May 22-24 at McCormick Place in Chicago, the 2018 Expo will house four acres of widespread product innovation, welcoming more than 850 exhibitors. The 2018 event will welcome seven international pavilions, with Belarus making its Sweets & Snacks Expo debut. Returning international pavilions include Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Mexico and Turkey. A global overview of the state of the candy and snack industries, a customized floor plan highlighting export-friendly companies, a guided retail store tour and the new product showcase are just some of the amenities offered to international guests. Stryve Foods LLC Becomes Major Player in the Protein Snack Industry
Protein snacks start-up, Stryve Foods announced today that it acquired the assets of Biltong USA, one of the first USDA approved biltong manufacturers in the country. Biltong USA, produces high quality sliced beef biltong, droëwors, and other related products for enthusiasts nationwide. Their secret family recipe and method of curing beef was passed down for future generations to enjoy. Stryve Foods Chairman, Ted Casey, states "bringing our manufacturing resources to Biltong USA will greatly increase scale, allowing us to get biltong into more people's hands."
