Did you know there is a full lunar solar eclipse just south of us on April 8th near Dayton, Ohio? Jim Burr telescope maker and host of 3ABN's "The Heavens Declare" astronomy program with a creation bent is our subject matter expert this week Monday at 4 p.m., Wednesday at 9 p.m., and Thursday at 1 p.m. only on STR stations, STR apps, and STR.fm.

Strong Tower Radio will air the 78 hours of continuous Genesis to Revelation dramatized King James Version Bible reading through Easter Sunday. We received many positive comments when we did this to close-out our October Reformation month and we thought that this weekend would be a good weekend to hear it again.

Natural Remedies seminar will be discussed on this week's STR Today

Natural Remedies and Free Clinic

Strong Tower Radio Today will do a look ahead at April on-air programs and events in our broadcast area such as a natural-remedies seminar and the AMEN Free Clinic at Cadillac. We are doing more of these community events on our 1^st of the month programs Monday at 10 a.m. and Wednesday at midnight only on Strong Tower Radio (STR) stations, STR apps, or STR.fm.

Ways for STR Giving

You can give to Strong Tower Radio in several ways with different effects.

The first is the fastest, most effective donation by giving directly via a mailed check, calling in a donation, or donating on our website at StrongTowerRadio.org. This allows you to designate a station or support the whole radio network through a one-time or recurring donation.

Another way is by giving to the Michigan Radio Ministry fund with a tithe envelope or via your church's Adventist Giving online.

Changed Life

Rich Murphy worked for Home to Stay, a non-profit home renovation company that helps people stay in their homes despite physical limits. The supervisor kept their work-van radio tuned to 90.7 FM, Strong Tower Radio (STR), because he liked the music. On occasion, Rich would also hear sermons and other programs, and he was drawn to listen to STR when on his own time.

While listening to STR, Rich discovered Bible truths he'd never heard before. He also learned about the Spirit of Prophecy, referenced both during the sermons and through broadcast reading sessions. "God further revealed Himself to me through the STR broadcasts," Rich shares.

Strong Tower Radio also introduced Rich to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Looking back, Rich describes himself as a 

Bible-studying Christian of 35 years. Raised Catholic, he converted to Protestantism at age 25. Over time, Rich has noticed a growing trend of Protestant church teaching and practice increasingly resembling Catholics.  

After listening to STR for almost two years, Rich visited the Midland Seventh-day Adventist Church. He attended the Sabbath School study, the main morning service, and the mid-week prayer meeting, listening to STR had given Rich a hunger for more truth. He attended Midland church for two years, was introduced to 3ABN TV, and offered resources to further research the writings of Ellen White.

In mid-2020, Rich joined the Midland SDA Church on profession of faith during the earlier stage of the Covid-19 pandemic. He notes, "People don't realize that their misunderstandings are blurring their picture of God. There is so much junk out there being broadcast; good programming is such a relief. I seldom listen to anything on the radio except STR!!"
