Scarcity or Abundance?
Scarcity or Abundance? Each day I venture out to the barn and feed our three goats, yet each day they act like food is scarce, and they must butt heads with each other to gain extra food.
How foolish the goats are; I feed them well daily, yet they act like this might be their last meal! It’s a sad reminder of what our sin has done to the plant and animal kingdoms. How have we been viewing life lately; through the lens of scarcity or abundance? What would God testify about us? Would He say, “My child, I feed you well daily and take care of your needs, yet you act like this might be the last thing you receive! You take as much as you can from others and fret about many things; don’t you trust Me?” To others, would He say, “My child, I feed you well daily, take care of your needs, and you give more and more of it to others in need; you act like there’s an endless supply? You are learning to trust Me with everything; I can give you more and bless many that way.”
Scarcity or abundance?
More than just a personal worldview, these are the two groups in this world. Those who see scarcity worry that the world will soon run out of food, clean water, energy, room for all 8 billion people (and counting), and other natural resources.
God calls us to be wise stewards and directs us to be fruitful and multiply. That principle applies to all that we do, not only populating Earth. Some (not all) see abundance and want to carry out God’s fruitfulness command using multiplication, believing God will provide as He promises.
As you support Strong Tower Radio with your prayers and financial gifts, God multiplies your fruitfulness to His glory. Through the broadcast, lives are being changed for eternity. As one listener named Michael recently shared, ‘Trust me, we’re listening. Your impact is unreal!’ (As in, out of this world!) Thank you for sharing your abundant worldview with STR.
