Dear MECK Pre-K Graduates and Families,
On behalf of everyone here at MECK Pre-K I want you to know how very proud we are of you and all your accomplishments.
Students, you came to school every day willing to grow and learn. You made friends, learned how to get along with lots of other people, practiced your letters and writing your name, recalled details of a story, counted and grouped objects, and remembered lots of facts about water, insects, signs, simple machines, and trees. WOW—that is a lot of work—and the people here at MECK Pre-K were able to take measurements and see all of this fantastic growth. You are amazing learners and you are going to do such a great job in kindergarten. Our hearts are warm remembering your smiles and your achievements. We will miss you.
Parents and Primary Care Givers, you made it possible for your children to achieve all of this. You made sure your children were in school and ready to learn, you attended parent workshops and parent conferences so you could understand what was happening in the classroom, you came to special events at the school, you used Ready Rosie and Marco Polo to create stronger bridges between home and school, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, you READ BOOKS with your child. WOW—that is a lot of work—and those of us whose responsibility it is to see that MECK Pre-K is delivered at the highest of quality so that children can gain the most from it are so pleased and proud to have you as partners. You do the really heavy lifting of keeping your child ready to learn and grow more every single day. We will miss you too—and we hope if this year’s graduate has a younger sibling, we will see you in MECK Pre-K again.
Congratulations to all and we hope you have a wonderful summer,
Mary-Margaret Kantor
