Cover Crop Referral Program

In an effort to help Delaware meet its water quality goals of 240,000 acres of cover crops statewide, SCD has launched a new cover crop referral program. SCD will pay $500 to the referring farmer, and to each new farmer that enrolls and completes the pilot program.

Delaware State Fair

SCD is proud to be part of the Delaware Conservation Partnership (DCP) which is set up at the Delaware State Fair, in the air-conditioned Ag Commodities Building.


Pick up some DCP swag, a rain gauge or reusable bag, then take a 📸 selfie at the photo booth.

CCR Recertification


The next Certified Construction Reviewer (CCR) recertification course will be held on Oct. 4 and 11, 2023.


The course is $90 and highlights changes in the Sediment and Stormwater Program and Regulations, along with newer approaches to stormwater management.


CCRs eligible for recertification will be notified by DNREC, registration is required.
