Thank You Spectrum Healthcare Partners

We are thrilled to express our gratitude to Spectrum Healthcare Partners for their incredible generosity in sponsoring this year's Peaks to Portland a Swim for Kids event. Their support has not only made this event possible but has also significantly contributed to the success of the Y’s cause. It is gratifying to see such a dedicated commitment to the well-being of children in our community.

When asked to share why Spectrum supports the Y, Beth Austin, Vice President of Operations shared: “Spectrum is committed not only to caring for patients, but also the broader communities that we serve. Our philanthropic efforts span a wide range of organizations, but the Y is particularly meaningful to us. A key reason for our partnership with the Y is their impact – they make such a broad-reaching imprint in the community through their mission to improve health and inclusiveness. Spectrum is proud to support the Y through both financial and volunteer efforts.”

Spectrum stands out with a team of over 200 physicians across various medical specialties, including anesthesiology, orthopaedics, pathology, radiation oncology, and radiology. Their unwavering commitment is evident in the advanced expertise and top-notch care they bring to patients, communities, and hospital partners.

Spectrum is dedicated to fostering healthy communities by leveraging a unique collaboration between in-house specialists and external partners. This approach ensures the delivery of high quality, high value, integrated care to their focus areas in Maine and New Hampshire. Spectrum touches people’s lives in many ways that are not always immediately visible since many of their physicians work behind the scenes, but the effects of their efforts are far-reaching in their communities.

Thank you Spectrum Healthcare Partners for your continued support of the YMCA of Southern Maine.

Thank You L.L. Bean!

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and support. Thank you L.L. Bean and event coordinator Ethan Hemphill for donating the proceeds from your 4th of July 10k and 1-mile Fun Run to the Casco Bay Branch of the YMCA of Southern Maine. There was a record amount of $46,400 raised this year and your donation allows us to provide financial assistance to many families in our own community for youth programs such as summer camp, pre-school, swim lessons, and more!

We believe that these programs are transformational and L.L.Bean’s gift helps ensure that young people—regardless of their background or circumstances—are able to receive access to the Y’s Youth Programs and services.

Together, we are making a difference and shaping the next generation of leaders. Thank you for being a champion for our Y youth programs.
