The last two weeks have been packed with lots of alumni activities.  Southern University Alumni Federation Home Chapter hosted its Black History Month Program on February 1, 2017, which included a list of distinguished honorees including Mayor-President Sharon Weston-Broome, along with former Congressman Cleo Fields.  I had the great pleasure of introducing our new mayor to the sold out crowd.  Congratulations to Home Chapter President Cortny Jarrell and the entire chapter leadership on a great event.

LET'S STAY CONNECTED
Members, we need accurate information on you for the following reasons...
1. We are re-activating The Southernite for our members. All members with updated contact info will receive their Fall edition no later than February and;

2. The Federation is launching an all new and all inclusive membership platform which will allow you to control your own data by establishing a profile. All correspondence will become fully automated with integration.

For these reasons and more obvious ones, we need you to update your membership and contact info with the office as soon as possible.
