NEW VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL COACH
Former Creighton Bluejay Justin Carter Hired as Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at OCA
Basketball players and their parents of all OCA ages are invited to meet our new head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach.
Meeting: Monday, April 29th at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria
Former Creighton Bluejay basketball player Justin Carter has been hired as the new varsity boy's basketball coach for the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles.
Carter was a starting player for the Bluejays in 2008-09 and 2009-10. A player known for his hard work and competitiveness, Carter averaged almost 9 points and 6 rebounds per contest over two years with the Jays, playing for then-coach Dana Altman.
Carter then went on to play professionally overseas for 13 seasons. Carter recently retired from professional basketball and started his company Pro Vision Basketball camps/leagues as well as the non-profit Envision Hope program, both located in Elkhorn.
Oregon University assistant basketball coach Brian Fish says this about Coach Carter:
"Justin is a player that has achieved all his success through hard work, terrific effort and competing every day in practice. Having your young baller around Justin on the court and off will only enhance their ability as not only a player, but also as a person. There are very few coaches out there that can affect a player on and off the court equally!"
Monday night, April 29th in the Cafeteria at 7:00 pm
All parents and students are invited.
