CELEBRATING WOMEN'S HISTORY

BGCL recently hosted a #WomensHistoryMonth celebration at the Teen Center Club for our GEM girls (Girls Empowering Movement). Young ladies got to meet some great women in our community and came together to get active with the amazing coaches from Double Dutch Aerobics Atlanta!

They also enjoyed getting creative while making candles, and hearing an inspiring message about feeding your passion and finding joy with Surf ATL's Tara Spencer! Thank you to the hard-working staff who put this event on and helped to create life-long memories for our girls!

HEALTHY LIFESTYLES

BGCL programs reinforce the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and teaches Club Kids healthy habits through nutrition curriculum, intramural sports opportunities, mentorship, and more.

This month we held a Club versus Club tournament where elementary aged kids battled it out on the court! Teams had a blast showing off their skills while also making new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

COMMUNITY RALLIES TO SUPPORT NEW CLUB OPENING

BGCL's Forsyth Advisory Committee hosted the 1st annual Club Crawl at the Cumming City Center last weekend and raised thousands of dollars in support of the Tommy & Chantal Bagwell Boys & Girls Club,

set to open for summer camp this June.

Local pubs and restaurants hosted attendees, created signature drinks and mocktails, and donated a portion of the proceeds to help support incoming summer campers. The 21,000 square foot facility will host up to 300 local kids and teens, providing them with academic services, enrichment opportunities, and so much more to help bridge the gap

between academic semesters.
