NEW IN THE ILLINOIS MEDICAL DISTRICT: JUNE/JULY 2019
FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Last month I had the opportunity to give an address at Hall Render's annual healthcare real estate summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. Hall Render is  the nation's largest healthcare-focused law firm. My address, Developing a World Class Medical District in Chicago, told  the story of the IMD, how it was formed, how it operates and the success that it has had. It was a pleasure to share all of the exciting progress being made in the IMD.
Prior to my address, I had the opportunity to sit down with the event organizers for a podcast interview to discuss what the IMD is doing to achieve its vision of becoming the world's next great health innovation district. You can listen to the podcast here

IMD FOOD TRUCK PARTNERSHIP
The IMD is excited to announce a new partnership with Flash Taco Food truck. The food truck has begun daily lunch service in the IMD, and is located at the corner of Polk and Paulina. This partnership is a great step forward in our efforts to bring much-needed amenities to the IMD. We are appreciative of the Flash Taco owners for agreeing to become the first truck to provide daily service in the District.
