As you know, Scarborough’s voice was heard loud and proud by the Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission, whose original recommendations would have been devastating for Scarborough, reducing Scarborough from six ridings to five and exiling parts of northwest Scarborough to North York.

Voice Your Concerns on The Privatization of Our Healthcare

The government's Healthcare Bill, which makes way for privatization and out-of-pocket medical costs will be going to committee over the next few weeks. During the committee process, there will be an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to appear and present a deputation on this Bill and on the issue of our healthcare to government and opposition members. The hearings will take place on the following dates:

  • March 20th: 9:00 – 10:00 and 1:00 – 6:00
  • March 21st: 9:00 – 10:00 and 3:00 – 6:00
  • March 27th: 9:00 – 10:00 and 1:00 – 6:00


The deadline to sign up for deputations is March 13th at 12:00 pm.
