The Colerain Chamber Board of Directors is happy to announce that David Moravec has accepted the position of President/CEO of the Colerain Chamber of Commerce.
Dave is an entrepreneurial senior executive with consistent success in starting, building, and growing organizations and increasing the performance of small/mid-sized companies. Dave has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University. He has been involved in various chambers of commerce over his career and served as President of the Hampshire Area Chamber of Commerce in Hampshire, Illinois. Over the last four years he was employed as Director of Sales at Integrity Data, a payroll software development company based in Lincoln, Illinois.
He is an avid golfer, enjoys travel and hiking. If asked, he prefers dogs over cats, fried chicken over veggies, and old-time movies over horror flicks. That said, he enjoys trivia nights, karaoke on occasion, and Dave has been known to get up on stage at open mic comedy nights.
Dave is currently relocating from Effingham, Illinois, but is hitting the ground running with planning events - a New Member/Meet the President Gathering at Colerain Bowl, Wednesday February 19 as well as our Hometown Hero Gala in April.
Dave has set a goal of personally meeting each member within his first 90 days; as he reaches out, please welcome him to the area and the business community.
