New Year, New Beginnings

Dear SWSO Friends and Colleagues,


Happy New Year! Much work has been completed to facilitate the merger of the SWSO and SAO constituents:

  • At our combined SWSO-SAO-MSO annual session in November 2022, the provisional bylaws were passed.
  • Currently work is being done on the policy manual and our upcoming strategic planning session is scheduled in January 2023.

Monthly updates will be sent to the SWSO and SAO membership to keep you informed along the way. If you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at shannonortho@mac.com.

Professional Advocacy Conference:

February 28- March 1, 2023

In 2023, we are offering a hybrid conference with a variety of substantive meetings at the Hamilton Hotel followed by taking our grassroots advocacy directly to Capitol Hill.  We will maximize our time together to make a difference for our advocacy priorities.
