Teach St. Tammany Alternative Teacher Certification Applications Being Accepted

College graduates in non-education fields have an opportunity to receive an alternative teaching certification through the Teach St. Tammany Alternative Certification program in the areas of math, science, English, or special education (SWE). The deadline to apply is April 1, 2024.

Lead Strong

During the 2023-24 school year, teachers, support staff, administrators, and more will be honored with the Lead Strong bracelet. These individuals are dedicated to building a strong future for the students in STPPS.


Congratulations to the honorees so far this year: the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council, Kelly Ancona from Little Pearl Elementary, Meridith Lazaroe and Mike Wilcox from Madisonville Elementary, Bruce Wilson from Salmen High School, Tracey Compass from Alton Elementary School, Lacy Ellzey from Whispering Forest Elementary, FCA students and adults, Officer Terence Calais from Cypress Cove Elementary, and James Carruth from Chahta-Ima Elementary.
