From Choir Sunday, June 2 - The Chancel Choir and orchestra presents Gabriel Fauré’s incomparably beautiful ‘Requiem’. Composed in 1888, this exquisite piece of music broke new ground as Fauré explored the subject of death and the afterlife from a radically new point of view: as rest and light, rather than judgment and fear. Also on the program are two new orchestral offerings by Stephen Main in keeping with the overall theme.

Refugee Task Force: Canadian wing
The Refugee Task Force (RTF) continues to work with all of our past families, keeping contact and helping as we can. One family, the Fazlis, find themselves in need of help.
It's a complex story, but we are looking for a support organization (faith-based or not) in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (Toronto is the closest large city) to coordinate activities and to sponsor Fazli family members out of Afghanistan and into Canada.
If you know someone in the Hamilton or Toronto area, please ask them if they want to help. You can tell them that their efforts can really make a huge difference.
