New Trainer: Marina!
FTR would like to Introduce Marina Davydova as the newest addition to our amazing group of fitness trainers. Marina came to FTR as a member first, but her passion for guiding others as they achieve their goals made her a natural to lead our beginners classes. Marina is StrongFirst certified and enjoys ballroom dancing and yoga in her free time. She delights in walking alongside others on their path to becoming healthier, happier and better connected versions of themselves.  You can find Marina teaching Tuesday’s and Thursday’s Noon FTR fitness classes. Welcome to the squad, Marina!
Matt Martin and the New Community Advisory Board!
Fit To Recover is always looking for new ways we can improve connection with the individuals we serve. We are excited to launch the Community Advisory Board (CAB); a group of FTR community members who will meet once a month to relay feedback to the organization through surveys, a suggestion box and group discussion.  We are happy to announce longtime FTR member and Ambassador Liaison Matthew Martin will serve as chair and faciliator. Are you a member who would like to participate in the CAB?  Please see Matt or email inquiries to  contact@fit2recover.org .

Special thanks to Zions Bank Corporation for their support in the launch of the Community Advisory Board!
Shout–Out Box!
Have you been in a fitness class and had an inspiring and supportive partner helping you with that last round of deadlifts?  Or maybe a staff member was a particularly good listener on a day you really needed to talk? Have you noticed a positive change in another member? Please drop your words of appreciation in our “Shout-Out Box”   ( located on the front desk ) and we will announce them in the next newsletter and on our social media page. Shout Outs are a way for us to anonymously give each other the gift of encouragement and support.
Your words might be the best part of someone’s day!
Volunteer Spotlight! Matthew Kendall
Matt Kendall, FTR member since 2015, has been an essential volunteer in the creation and upkeep of the Food To Recover vegetable garden.  He can be seen watering, weeding and tending to the plants each week during the summer before Monday bootcamp. He also orchestrated the planting of all the flowers in the memorial garden before our big event in May.  Thank you, Matty for your green thumb, your passion and your consistency.
The Food To Recover Garden wouldn’t thrive without you!
