Training Announcement

New Title IX Training Requirement

All UConn employees are required to complete Title IX training by September 3, 2024, which is administered by the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE).

In April, the Department of Education released updated Title IX regulations. Importantly, these regulations require annual training to ensure that employees understand how to identify sex-based discrimination and harassment and when it must be reported to OIE.

OIE created a new, self-paced 15-minute online training on the updated employee rights and responsibilities under Title IX. This training is mandatory and must be completed by

September 3, 2024.
