About the Program

Last month the California Supreme Court approved the State Bar's new Client Trust Account Protection Program (CTAPP). Many of its provisions went into effect on December 1, and all attorneys should become familiar with the program's new requirements, since all attorneys who represent clients and have funds on deposit must comply with all of the new requirements early next year. Deborah Wolfe and Brett Schreiber will discuss what the requirements are, who has to comply, and how to comply, whether you are a solo practitioner or a member of a law firm with multiple attorneys.
