Staff Spotlight: Amanda Stapp
Amanda Stapp is one of our newest members to the TDA Staff and is the new Studio Director at our Tracy location.  She graduated in Spring 2011 with a major in Journalism and a minor in Dance from the University of Arizona.  However, Amanda is not a new face to the local dance scene or Tiffany's Dance Academy.  At eleven years old she was one of Tiffany's first students, taking lessons in Tiffany's garage before the first studio in Livermore opened off Vasco road.     "It is an incredibly unique opportunity to wake up every day and do what you love and for me that is dancing and teaching.  TDA has made it possible for me to pursue my passion while continuing my education and perfecting my craft. There are very few studios where dancers get instruction and devotion of this caliber and I'm fortunate to be a part of it."  Amanda cannot wait to get into the studio and share in the TDA staff, student, and family experience. Dancers who perform more often, feel better on stage and are more likely to be motivated to perfect their technique. This year Tiffany's Dance Academy is launching a new program to get our dancers onstage more often for free. Click here to read more...

Dress Code 101

TDA's dress code is designed to maximize your dancer's ability to learn and focus in class. Proper attire helps your instructor see the dancer's body and check for correct alignment, posture, and technique. Just like a school uniform, dress code also promotes the discipline and team spirit that dance embodies. Make sure you check with the studio before buying any dance attire to see what your dancer's dress code is for the 2011/2012 season.
