The Episcopal Church has changed and updated all Safe Church trainings! We will now refer to all of our trainings as Safe Church, Safe Communities. This new and updated training is available online. We are offering an introduction to the new program via Zoom at two different times on May 3 (see details below) and strongly encourage you to attend one.

Below is the procedure to set up and complete the online trainings:

  • Learners will be added to the new Presidium Academy database and will receive an email within 2-5 business days with a link to their online account. Please check spam, junk, and promotions folders for this email from If no email is received or a password needs to be reset, please follow these steps to recover your Praesidium account.

  • New learners will need to click on the button in the welcome email to activate their Praesidium account and enter more information about their role at the church. 

  • Learners must complete all required courses (click on the button below).
Safe Church Required Courses
  • After completing all the required courses, learners must download their transcript and send a copy to their parish's Safe Church Recordkeeper.
