Protect the Quad – Respect the Quad

ESF’s Quad is perfect for sitting, reading, sunning, playing frisbee, or even taking a nap. What it’s not perfect for is cutting across!

 

Not walking across the Quad is a long-standing tradition to preserve the Quad as an open green space without worn paths. Get those extra daily steps in and use the sidewalks to get around campus!

All events are free, open to all, and range from research presentations to best practices to student discussions. This is supported by the offices of International Education and Sustainability.

Get a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Syracuse Crunch

The ESF community is invited to join the ESF Alumni Association for a behind-the-scenes of the OnCenter War Memorial tour and take in a Syracuse Crunch hockey game!

 

Sunday, March 26 I 1:30 p.m. I OnCenter War Memorial

 

You will have the chance to tour the Syracuse Crunch facility and learn more about the sustainability efforts and environmental aspects of the arena. The tour includes the locker room, gym area, and video room.

Help measure evolution in action! Graduate student Jess Proctor created the citizen science game "Squirrel Spotter" to measure how quickly gray and black squirrels are detected in different environments.
