Big Success with Stuff-A-Truck in Westmont

The PRC Junior Board at Westmont High School conducted the first Stuff-A-Truck event in Westmont this week. Five schools participated in the event and provided 1,110 pounds of food for PRC’s Westmont Food Pantry. Congratulations to the PRC Junior Board for their great success in bringing a new food drive Westmont! PRC Earns Grant Award

People’s Resource Center is pleased to announce a grant award through the DuPage County Local Food Pantry Infrastructure Investment Program. These funds will be used by PRC to purchase a new refrigerated box truck and implement an online ordering pilot program at our Westmont pantry location.

The older of the two box trucks at Westmont has served us faithfully for many years, but the time has come for a new one to join its partner truck in service. And the online ordering pilot program will help us learn ways to improve our reach to neighbors in the way that best works for them. Exciting times are ahead for PRC, and we look forward to sharing more updates!
