Uchiwa is a new yarn from our friends at Noro! Uchiwa is a Cotton/Viscose/Silk blend that works up as a worsted weight. Perfect for garments or accessories, this wool free yarn yields beautiful self striping colors and plenty of drape. One 200 gram ball gives you approximately 547 yards!
The Anisie top shown here is knit with 2 - 4 skeins of Uchiwa, depending on size. The pattern is in Noro Magazine 20 or buy the yarn to make the project and we'll send you the pattern for free! Just request the pattern when ordering at least 2 balls of Uchiwa.
Finished bust size: 38" - 46" = 2 Balls; 51" - 62" = 3 Balls; 66" - 70" = 4 Balls.

Many of you are familiar with the Otter Cove Shawlette, designed by our own Kris Gregson and named after a cove in Cambria where otters are known to congregate. It's a fun to knit crescent shawl with three different pattern sections.
She originally designed it in Serena from Manos del Uruguay, a Baby Alpaca/Pima Cotton blend. We created some kits using Serena which you can find at the link below.

Bucket hats are here and they're all the rage! In this workshop we will be working on the crochet Maxhill Hat by Audrey Drysdale, featured in the Noro Knitting Magazine #20, Spring/Summer.
The workshop project uses 2 skeins of the Noro Sonata yarn which is included with the class. Choose one color or two colors for even more fun!

Help us fight Alzheimer's | | |

We're joining the fight against Alzheimer's. We do have a fundraising team set up, but our main goal is to create blankets for use in memory care units and other facilities where they'll be used and loved.
If you'd like to lend a hand, we need folks to knit or crochet 12" x 12" squares which will then be turned into blankets. Use any machine washable yarn in the color purple and send them to us at:
