New-Indy Heeds Animal Sanctuary Call for Paper

New-Indy Catawba and the Catawba Junction Wildlife Rehabilitation and Farm Animal Sanctuary are less than two miles apart on the same street. So, when the animal rescue posted on Facebook that it needed paper to help keep its cages clean, New-Indy was quick to lend a hand. The mill donated an industrial-sized roll of 42-pound linerboard that will keep the animal enclosures lined for a long time.

Here's the Facebook post that prompted New-Indy to act:

The non-profit organization annually rescues, rehabilitates, and releases hundreds of local species into the wild. The animal sanctuary also saves farm animals that have no place else to go.

The Catawba Junction Wildlife Rehabilitation and Farm Animal Sanctuary rehabilitates and releases hundreds of local species into the wild each year.
