First 5 Riverside Announces Tammi Graham as New Executive Director

  
F5R Executive Director Tammi Graham (MAY 4, 2015) RIVERSIDE COUNTY - First 5 Riverside, the Riverside County Children & Families Commission, is pleased to announce Tammi Graham as the new executive director. She is set to officially start May 18.

 

Graham has more than 15 years of experience with public health and early childhood development programs along with a strong background in business management. She has held several positions within the County of San Bernardino, most recently serving as the Department of Public Health's Community Health deputy chief. She has also worked for the State of Colorado as the Division of Community & Family Support director under the Office of Early Childhood.

 

"I am honored to be appointed as the new director of First 5 Riverside and to be able to be a part of the important work Riverside County is doing to support families and young children," Graham said.

 

As executive director, Graham will oversee the operations and management of First 5 Riverside, a division of the Department of Public Social Services. First 5 Riverside currently provides grant funding for 48 programs throughout Riverside County ranging from early care/preschool scholarships and social emotional development support to health care and workforce development. Last year, more than 125,000 children, parents and providers were served.

 

"We are excited to have Ms. Graham join First 5 Riverside, especially as the Commission finalizes a strategic plan setting priorities for the next five years. She brings experience, passion and leadership to propel a variety of work necessary to help Riverside County's youngest children thrive," said Susan von Zabern, First 5 Riverside Commissioner and director of the Riverside County Department of Public Social Services.
