Hi, everyone!

Check out our picks from the big Previews catalog -- we've gathered our recommendations in the newsletter you can pick up at the shop or download here. We're not going to be able to stock everything in there, but we're happy to special order or add to your pull list. The fate of a title can be decided before it even hits the shelves, so support the creators you like by preordering.

And -- get ready for Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 5. We'll have an assortment of special free comics we're giving away to everyone who walks in the door -- from Captain America to Super Hero Girls, My Hero Academia to Riverdale, plus some smaller independent titles we're fans of. Bring someone who's never been to the shop, we'd like to show new customers what we're all about. Everybody gets a comic for showing up; a costume gets you another, and every $10 spent gets one more. And help us spread the word by sharing our event.

In ETERNITY GIRL #2 (of 6), there is nameless world nested in the very heart of existence, the home of the Shining Tower, the axis of life and death -- and to end her suffering, Eternity Girl must destroy it. But everyone else will die, too. Pick up #1 on the rack under "E" to get started.

In GIDEON FALLS #2 the mysteries of the "Black Barn" heighten as the reclusive Norton begins to unravel new clues just as a murder spree breaks out in the town of Gideon Falls. We're restocked with #1s if you missed out.

In OBLIVION SONG BY KIRKMAN & DE FELICI #2, Nathan's obsession with Oblivion has put a strain on every aspect of his life and his love for Heather is really put to the test -- now that he's closer than he's ever been to finding what he's truly looking for.

Hunted by wolves that roam the border, women are disappearing in COYOTES TP VOL 1 -- Detective Frank Coffey investigates the mythic-level bloodbath and meets Red, a little girl with a secret and a sword. "It's Sicario meets The Howling, Kill Bill set in the Underworld franchise," writer SEAN LEWIS tells us. "The hero of the book, a thirteen-year old girl, is surrounded by a group of women who train her as a samurai, a ninja, a warrior to make the predators fear."

NORMANDY GOLD TP continues the great run of pulp comics from HARD CASE CRIME; when her younger sister is found at the center of a brutal murder case, a tough-as-nails sheriff is forced to dive headfirst into the seedy world of 1970s prostitution. Co-writer ALISON GAYLIN describes it as "based in part on the '70s conspiracy thrillers that (co-writer) MEGAN ABBOT and I love."

In FAMILY TRADE TP VOL 01, on an island city in a world where history didn't quite turn out like ours, a hidden family of spies, thieves, and assassins makes sure that the world keeps going -- or they did, until their youngest member  Jessa manages to start a civil war.
