Hi, Everyone!

This Saturday, March 24 at 1:00 -- we're hosting a LOCAL COMICS POP-UP with writers and artists from the area. They'll have their work for sale and be available to talk about their process -- it's a great opportunity to support your neighbors and learn more about what goes into making a comic. If you can't make it, it'd be big help if you could join us in spreading the word: share that Facebook event, retweet our tweets about it, or tell a friend!

There's still time to get the preorder picks newsletter at the shop or download it here -- complete and return the form to special order or add to your pull list. We've collected a list of books and comics we think are compelling; we may not be able to stock them all, but we're happy to get them for us if you let us know.

In BRAVE & THE BOLD BATMAN & WONDER WOMAN #2 (of 6), Batman finds himself drawn further into a world of Celtic myth and supernatural mysteries as Wonder Woman calls on the Dark Knight Detective to investigate the murder of a once-powerful Irish god.

From JAMES STOKOE, in ALIENS DEAD ORBIT TP, after a horrific accident, an engineering officer must use all available tools -- a timer, utility kit, and his wits -- to survive an attack from the deadliest creature known to man.

Werewolf barista Julie and centaur BFF Chet serve up coffee to the monstrous denizens of their city -- but tragedy strikes as Chet is cursed, and it's up to Julie to pull together a ragtag group of mythical pals and find a way to save their friend in the slice-of-life MOONSTRUCK TP VOL 1 from LUMBERJANES creator GRACE ELLIS.

In SOLANIN GN, recent college grad Meiko Inoue, straddling the line between her years as a student and the rest of her life, struggles with the feeling that she's just not cut out to be a part of the real world.

Thanks for shopping local,
