Hi, Everyone!
The new preorder picks newsletter's available in the shop or for download here. Complete and return the form to special order or add to your pull list -- the best way to support the titles and creators you like is to preorder, the fate of new series can be decided before the first issue hits the racks.
Among the great
new #1s this week is INFIDEL #1 (of 5) -- we've read the first few issues, and it's a clever horror story with a contemporary twist, check it out on the front rack.
-=-=-=-=-
In SIDEWAYS #2, Derek wrestles with the perils of a lost phone and a death threat from an extraterrestrial keeper of time and space known as Tempus Fuginaut. There's some #1s still available over on the rack under "S."
Lieutenant Thrawn of the Galactic Empire has graduated the Imperial Academy with the highest marks possible, but that doesn't mean that everyone in the Imperial army wants him to succeed in STAR WARS THRAWN #2 (of 6) -- pick up #1 to get going on the rise of the Grand Admiral.
Faced with the growing trouble over the new and deadly neuro-narcotic plaguing the working-class sections of the city, an unlikely alliance will have to work together to stop the crisis in BONEHEAD #3.
GREEN LANTERN EARTH ONE HC VOL 1 presents a fresh look at the classic character. Hal Jordan's gig prospecting asteroids is less than fulfilling, but when he finds a powerful ring, he also learns the galaxy's protectors, the Green Lantern Corps, have fallen. CORINNA BECHKO tells us that she and GABRIEL HARDMAN enjoyed writing about Hal because
"at heart, he's an explorer with a deep background rooted in science and technology. With this story we were given the chance to let that aspect of his personality shine."
In ARCHIVAL QUALITY GN, Celeste starts working at the haunted Logan Museum -- but the job may not be the second chance she was hoping for, and she finds herself confronting her mental health and her relationships as she begins to dream of a young woman she's never met, but feels strangely drawn to.
The PUERTO RICO STRONG SC anthology explores what it means to be Puerto Rican and the diversity that exists within that concept, from today's most exciting Puerto Rican comics creators -- including RONNIE GARCIA, a former customer of ours and student of Bram's.
Thanks for shopping local,
Kevin, Bram, Eduardo, and Johnny
