Hunter Safety Class - #9774


Only a few spaces remain for the Hunter Safety program scheduled to begin in September! All ages are allowed, however youth participants are encouraged to be turning 12 within one year of course completion. Parents must accompany youth participants for the first 45 minutes of the first class.

Fall Frenzy - Sept 25 @10am #9730


This is a parent and child participation class. Join us as we explore colors, shapes, and animals around the season of fall. We will sing songs, enjoy interactive activities and games, make seasonal crafts, and much more! For ages 2-4 years with parent

Grandparent & Me Pickleball (Indoor) - Sept 14 @2:30pm #9692 or Nov 2 @2:30pm #9693


This program is designed to generate enthusiasm for pickleball with our youngest players. We will work with both child and parent or grandparent on developing sound fundamentals. All participants should wear tennis shoes and bring a paddle with them if possible. We will have a limited number of paddles available for use. For ages 7-10 years

Kindness Rock Painting Workshop - Sept 19 @6pm #9728 or Oct 17 @6pm #9729


Discover the joy of transforming ordinary rocks into extraordinary art! Learn essential rock painting techniques, including design, painting methods, and finishing touches, while exploring your creativity. By the end of the class, you'll have a collection of colorful, unique painted rocks to take home and enjoy or leave your rock in a landscape bed, bench or area that might be found by someone who needs a positive message in their day! All supplies included. For ages 9-15

Nerf Blaster Battle - Sept 27 @4pm #9719 or Dec 20 @4pm #9721


Bring your own NERF blaster, required eye protection, and prepare for a fun night of games! We will supply darts, so you can leave yours at home. Limited supply of NERF blasters available on site for those who do not have one. We will be taking over the gym for the evening! 

Zumbini - 8 Weeks - Sept 12 @9:15am #9750


This is a fun, energetic music and movement class with a parent or caregiver. Nurture your child’s natural musical abilities, bond and play together, and enjoy music and dance exploration in a social setting with a “Zumba” flavor. In this introductory class, children will learn basic ballet & tap steps. Through dance movements, they will increase their spatial & body awareness and work to increase coordination in a very positive social interactive setting. Ages 4-5 or passed Creative Movement

In response to community interest, the New Berlin Recreation Department and community volunteers are pleased to offer a Pom Dance Team for participants with special needs and their friends. Adaptive Programs

The New Berlin Recreation is pleased to announce it’s partnership with All Star Health Center. All Star Health Center is dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities to live a healthy lifestyle. All Star Health Center supports and facilitates the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of individuals with diverse needs through various exercise means. Join us for a fun-filled class!

Safe Sitters:Grandparents Getting Started - Nov 19 @9:15am #9776

A class geared towards mature members of the community to become caregivers. Many things have changed since you raised your children. It is important to learn the new recommendations for care based on research from doctors and scientists studying the physical and emotional development of infants and children. Learn how to safely care for infants and children and how to manage behavior, in addition to life-saving skills such as choking rescue, first aid, and injury management. Ages: 18 and older

Want to rock your resume to find the role that's a good fit for you? Bring your resume and optionally your laptop and update your resume in this workshop! We'll go through what has changed and what hasn't in resume writing so you can update with confidence. Guided by a Certified Professional Resume Writer, you will leave with confidence to update your resume! No longer do you need to worry if your resume is good enough to stand out to get the interview! Positive Parenting Workshop - VIRTUAL

Parenting isn’t always easy! Join us for these great classes that teach how to spend less time battling misbehavior, and more time building close relationships. Experienced Parent Educators and accredited Triple P Providers, Jessica -----St. Martin-Trejo, Natalie Popple, and Casey Hills, will help you develop positive parenting skills to manage stress and encourage healthy habits, and that can mean more good days for your family! All classes are free; pre-registration required. These programs are recommended for caretakers with children between the ages of 0-12.

ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! This core based workout utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. Please bring a mat. For ages 18+

Zumba Gold - Sept 12 @11am #9882

The Zumba Gold Fitness program is second to none. It is an innovative, fun, and exciting program. It was designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited physically. The main difference between Zumba Gold and Zumba Basic is Zumba Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but it certainly is as fun. The same great Latin styles of music and dance are used. This amazing program is very easy to follow so anyone at any age will be able to do Zumba Gold. For ages 18+

WERQ - Sept 10 @9am #9883 or Sept 12 @6pm #9884

WERQ (pronounced work) is the fiercely fun dance fitness class based on the hottest pop, rock and hip hop music. The signature WERQ warm-up will preview the dance steps used throughout the class and our unique cueing method ensures participants are able to follow the moves with ease. The mission is to create a judgement free dance space built on good vibes, a great sweat, and a supportive community. Our WERQouts are designed for everybody with EVERY BODY. Dancers and non dancers alike love this class. Get ready to blast away calories while building cardiovascular endurance dancing to the latest chart topping hits. We want you to feel entertained, empowered, and full of love for your body after this 60 minute class. Instructor: Suzzane Hogue For ages 18+

Kickboxing - Sept 16 @10am #9885

This high-energy workout is challenging for all levels, beginner or experienced athlete! This group fitness class combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. You’ll build stamina, improve coordination & flexibility, as well as burn calories and build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout! For ages 18+

Pet First-Aid and CPR Certification - Oct 30 @ 5:30PM #9775

Do you know what to do in the event of a pet emergency? Learn how to provide support to an injured or ill pet until vet care is available. Learn proper first aid and pet CPR techniques for dogs or cats. Information will be provided about assembling your own pet specific first aid kit, so you are prepared in an emergency. After completion, in accordance with veterinarian reviewed and approved Pet Pro Hero curriculum, you will receive a 2-year certification. This class is ideal for pet owners and pet professionals alike – includes hands on practice of skills and digital textbook. All supplies included. Ages 16+

Open Gym

When you purchase a Gym/Track RecPASS, you have access to our track, wellness mezzanine, and our open gym time. We offer specific open gym times for pickleball, basketball, and volleyball. In addition, we offer times for family open gym and a general open gym time. You are welcome to check out a basketball or volleyball with your monthly or annual passes. Pickleballs are available at the cost of $3.

Other amenities do include lockers, bathrooms, a concession stand with food and drinks, and an elevator for your convenience


There are three full size courts, a track, and wellness equipment. (Treadmill not included).


We do not have a pool, showers, vending machines, or locker rooms

Please note that Malone Park Picnic Shelter #2 is permanently closed. We appreciate your patience as we go through this change, as we recognize that many of our organizations and community members may be impacted.

And so much more! Reservations for any shelter (available for rent) may be made either online or in-person at the Recreation Department.


We will no longer be accepting reservations for the New Berlin Community Center. This decision was made due to the increasing costs associated with staffing and repairs following rentals. We understand this may impact many of our community members and organizations, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this transition.

Malone Gazebo, Shelter #3


Picturesque Setting: The gazebo is charmingly designed and a great focal point for wedding photos. Imagine the decorative touch of flowers or drapes to create a stunning backdrop for ceremonial or heartfelt photos. Combine that with the sunrise or sunset, and you have perfection. The natural light seeping through the Gazebo adds depth and warmth to those special moments. 

Scenic Park: The lush and well-maintained nature is an immaculate setting and backdrop offering great opportunities not just within the grounds and park's natural fields but along the scenic trails

Kid-Friendly: For families with young children, Malone Park is the perfect location. Families attending the wedding will appreciate the ample space for kids to play and explore. The park is not just big; it is more than enough room for multiple families to play.

1-36 Pick and Choose!

To obtain a locker or equipment, please exchange with front desk your RecPASS. Locker usage is only for the day that you are here. Please see front desk for more details!


In the event that you misplace your locker key or any form of locker damage occurs you will be assessed a replacement cost. It is highly advised that you always carry your key with you and keep it on the key ring. Do not lend your key for any reason. Do not attach any other items to your key or key ring. If you lose your locker key, immediately notify the Recreation staff and they will assist you in processing the required fees. The key replacement fee is $25.00 and the locker damage fee is $50.00. Please note that these fees are subject to change

Co-Ed Cornhole League



Join us at Malone Park on Monday Evenings for a fun and competitive league governed by ACO rules. Build your teams of two players and participate in a 6-week regular season and two-week postseason league! Prizes will be awarded to the top finishes at the end of the season. The second session of this league will shift indoors to the gym space at the Activity and Recreation Center!

New Berlin Brews and Boos a Kick off to Trick or Treat Party and Cornhole Tournament


Join us for a kick-off to trick or treat party! 1840 Brewing Company will be serving a special brew in collaboration with 1848 Coffee! 1848 Coffee will be handing out candy for the kids and Flour Girl & Flame will be there for you to buy delicious pizza! Costumers are encouraged!


Cornhole Tournament

Register your team of two players before October 21. All teams must pre-register for this tournament. Games will be played using the official ACO rules. All participants must use the provided bag and boards. For ages 18+
