ARC Information

Open Gym

When you purchase a RecPASS, you have access to our track, wellness mezzanine, and our open gym time. We offer specific open gym times for pickleball, basketball, and volleyball. In addition, we offer times for family open gym and a general open gym time. You are welcome to check out a basketball or volleyball with your monthly or annual passes. Pickleballs are available at the cost of $3.

Family Astronomy- Is Artificial Intelligence a Threat to Humanity?

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to dominate the news and it is advertised as being integrated into many of our consumer products such as appliances, automobiles and smart phones. It is even assisting doctors in making medical diagnoses. What future role will AI play in our lives and is it a potential threat to humanity. Dr. Roscoe will address these issues.


Saturday June 15th from 2:00pm-3:00pm Location: New Berlin ARC, Willow Room

Family Astronomy- Your Starship Itinerary and Accommodations

Are you ready for a vacation to Mars? Dr. Roscoe will be discussing your itinerary and what you should expect with respect to your activities and accommodations onboard the SpaceX Starship. There will be lots of surprises on this three-year vacation adventure, especially with respect to the waiver you will have to sign before starting on this fantastic journey.

Family Astronomy- The Space Program's Contributions to Medicine

Dr. Roscoe will be discussing how the space program has contributed to our personal health care and to the advancements in the medical sciences. Technology used to monitor astronauts’ vital signs has been adapted for use in emergency rooms is just one of the many examples that will be presented. See how your tax dollars that are going to the funding of the space program benefit you directly.
