The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to dominate the news and it is advertised as being integrated into many of our consumer products such as appliances, automobiles and smart phones. It is even assisting doctors in making medical diagnoses. What future role will AI play in our lives and is it a potential threat to humanity. Dr. Roscoe will address these issues.

Technology used to monitor astronauts’ vital signs has been adapted for use in emergency rooms is just one of the many examples that will be presented.
