Reflection from Fr. Joseph | |
Coming up in a week’s time is one of the biggest Catholic events in the state of Connecticut – the Connecticut Catholic Men’s Conference.
This is a powerful one-day event for Catholic men all across the state. It’s a rally, a retreat, inspiration, education, fellowship, and prayer – all rolled into one. Over 300 men gather in West Hartford for a day of talks, music, Adoration, Mass, and fraternity with other Catholic men. It is such a support for all men to know that we are not alone in our walk with Christ!
I’d like to highly encourage all men to attend this event on September 21st. I have gone a couple of times, and I always get a spiritual “shot in the arm” to be surrounded by such faith. This year, the speakers are amazing. Although not household names, the four speakers are passionate and dynamic, solidly faithful men who will inspire.
Our parish is happy to pay for any man who wants to go – and I’d like to get a huge group! Every man can spare one day to take care of his own spiritual well-being. If you are interested in attending, visit the website to register (https://www.ctcatholicmen.org/) and let me know. You can also contact Ken Noonan, Kjnoonan19@gmail.com , who is organizing a group from the parish to attend.
