Pizza Night Sign Ups Due July 10

You're invited to an al fresco make your own pizza night under the lights in the Courtyard. We’ll gather on Friday, July 26, from 5:30-8:30pm for grilled pizzas, salad, wine and dessert. 

Sign up below or in the Courtyard after worship. Deadline for signing up is Wednesday, July 10. Cost for dinner is $15 for adults ($20 at the door) and $5 for kids under 18 ($10 at the door). Bring family, friends and neighbors for a fun night of fellowship.

Summer Splash Sundays

Kids and students, get ready to splash into summer! Each Sunday in July, we've got the fun covered with an awesome theme. Add them to your calendars now so you don't miss out. For Pre-K, Elementary, MS + HS students during regular Sunday programming, 10-11am

Our next meeting of the Grief Group is Saturday, July 6, at 10am in the Murdoch Room. The group is open to anyone who has lost loved ones and is looking for a caring and supportive space with others who have also felt this profound loss. Contact Alison Fletcher at (510) 813-5959


A memorial service for church member Marilyn Hodgson will be held at the church on Wednesday, July 31 at 10am. A reception will follow.

Rita Liston, life partner of Bob Livsey, passed away on June 19. Her memorial is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, at 2pm at the church.


Game Night Returns

Back by popular demand, we're hosting another FREE adults Game Night on Friday, August 23 from 6:30-9pm in the Courtyard. Sangrias, chips, guacamole, salsa and dessert will be served. Enjoy Poker, Mexican Train, Rummikub, Scrabble and more. Bring your favorite game if you’d like.

Curtains up! Experience the magic of live theater together. We are a very casual group: someone makes plans for an event and others may decide to join - sometimes with dinner out ahead of the event.

Helping Harbor House

A group of Piedmont Church volunteers of all ages took part in a clean-up effort for mission partner Harbor House Saturday, June 22. Projects included cleaning, organizing and power washing vehicles.

'Breathe' Wednesdays, 1:30pm

The Messenger

Piedmont Church’s online newsletter, The Messenger, is the primary source of communication. The Messenger is published digitally and distributed via email weekly.

Deadline for articles to 

appear in The Messenger is 

12 noon each Monday

Michael Barber edits copy and designs the layout of each Messenger with careful consideration of article placement. Placement is determined based on relevance to the congregation and the wider community. 


Sunday Bulletin

Sunday bulletin and worship announcements are decided by Michael based on Tuesday discussions with Staff and lay leadership.

Print deadline for Sunday Bulletin is Tuesday, 12pm
