County Responds to Recent Storms

In response to this week's storms, County road crews removed over 30 trees from county-maintained roadways.

Many of the trees fell into power and telecommunications lines, requiring an additional response from PG&E and telecommunications providers before roadways could be reopened. The County's Emergency Operations Center was activated to support residents throughout the outages from the storm event.

Only two county-maintained roads remain closed due to lines across roadways or in trees across roadways (Scotts Flat Road and Easy Street), and two Community Resource Centers offering charging stations, WiFi, and water are available at the Madelyn Helling Library and the North San Juan Community Center today.
