A Message from Our CEO
The last few years marked a significant baby boom here in our county, with over 30 babies born to County employees! I enjoyed posing with some of them last week.
In light of this heartwarming trend, I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the valuable services available to new parents in our community. Our Clerk-Recorder's Office has made it easier than ever to obtain birth certificates by offering online ordering. Our library welcomes newborns at the hospital with a baby book and offers many programs for children.
At Nevada County, we understand the importance of family and the joy that comes with its expansion. We stand ready to support and celebrate all new families as they embark on their incredible journey.
- Alison Lehman, County Executive Officer
