Titan Tailgate Draws Crowd Despite the Weather | The Annual Titan Tailgate Party, held at the Bank of Springfield Chatham Banking Center, kicked off the Glenwood Titans' football season on August 30! Tailgaters of all ages enjoyed food, drinks, and games. Kids got to see the inside of a Chatham Fire Department truck, and talk with Chatham Police Officers, too. The event was co-sponsored by Bank of Springfield, Formea Insurance Group, Jane Hay Sales & Staging - The Real Estate Group, and Chatham Collision & Repair. Food is being donated by Nelson's Catering and Scoop Du Jour. | Volunteers Needed for Oktoberfest! | We're looking for volunteers to help sell tickets on September 21st at the Chatham Jaycees Oktoberfest celebration, held at Veterans Memorial Square in Chatham. Any Chamber member or Chamber Golf Outing sponsor is welcome to donate 150 items or materials for our Golfer Goodie Bags. These bags are given to each golfer who will be joining us on September 12th.
Please deliver items to the Chamber office (106 E. Mulberry St. in Chatham) during office hours, M-F: 8 to 11:30 a.m., or T-Th: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). You may also drop items off at Formea Insurance Group, 512 S. Church St. in Chatham, between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. M-F.
We will accept items until the end of day Thursday, September 5th.

Congratulations to Edgewood Golf Club for being chosen the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce’s Member of the Month for September!

Titan Fuel Supports Families in Need through the Simply Give Program - Double Match Day is Sept. 14 | |

Titan Fuel is proud to announce a partnership with Meijer to provide much-needed relief to local families facing food insecurity through Meijer's Simply Give program. The program encourages customers to add a $10 Simply Give donation card to their cart, which is then converted into a Meijer food-only gift card and given to a local food pantry in the store’s community.
Titan Fuel will benefit from donation cards at the Springfield Meijer store now through Sept. 28. In addition, Meijer will double match all customer cards on August 17 and September 14, effectively tripling contributions made on both days. Meijer customers shopping online using Meijer Pickup or Home Delivery can also include Simply Give donation cards as an add-on to their orders.
