NETWORKED LEADERS

Fieldstone@4

Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center

We were delighted to host our first Fieldstone@4 gathering of 2024, held amidst the vibrant surroundings of Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center on March 14th. It was a joyous occasion as we welcomed both familiar faces and newcomers to this hidden gem of nature and education.

The event buzzed with excitement as we introduced many leaders to the wonders of Olivewood Gardens for the very first time. Highlighting the afternoon was our raffle, adding an extra dash of excitement to the festivities. Congratulations to Julie Foster, who won the coveted cooking class for two at Olivewood, and to Elizabeth Berg, the lucky recipient of David Brooks' enlightening book, "How to Get to Know a Person."

As the afternoon drew to a close, we were treated to a personalized tour led by Olivewood Gardens CEO, Jen Nation. Jen's passion for sustainability and education shone through as she guided us through the gardens and the home, offering insights into the vital work Olivewood does within the community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, especially with the threatening weather and traffic. Your enthusiasm and camaraderie added to the power of the afternoon, reaffirming the strength of our esteemed community.

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for our next Fieldstone@4 gathering, scheduled for June 13th. We're excited to announce that Visions Textile Museum will be our gracious host, welcoming us to their captivating space at Liberty Station with a new exhibit that is part of the World Design Capitol. Join us as we continue to connect, learn, and inspire each other on this journey of leadership and community.

NONPROFIT RESOURCE EXCHANGE

The Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego is a place for nonprofit organizations to ask for what they need and to offer what they have to other nonprofit organizations. The Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego is built on the value of reciprocity with the goal of sharing resources to help the nonprofit sector as we all work together to lead our teams, serve our clients, re-imagine how we work, and sustain our organizations for the future.

Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego was originally created as a pilot program through a partnership between FIELDSTONE LEADERSHIP NETWORK SAN DIEGO and THE NONPROFIT INSTITUTE to address immediate needs presented by COVID. Because it has proven to be a valuable asset, we continue to host the space.
