Neighborhood Update: Jan. 25

The Allegheny County Housing Authority has submitted the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Plan to HUD. This submission was made after several issues – noted by members of the Neighborhood Team during review – were ignored.

The final application for the implementation grant is due Feb. 16.

MRCDC, as the Neighborhood Team Lead, invites you to attend a neighborhood update meeting on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. to explain what that means for McKees Rocks.

CHOICE/HAYS MANOR – COMMUNITY BENEFITS AGREEMENT

Members of the MRCDC board and staff met with Allegheny County Housing Authority Director Frank Aggazio on January 11 to push for the finalization of a Community Benefits Agreement between the HUD entity and members of the McKees Rocks Neighborhood Team, the borough’s residents.
