Expanding the Awards Reception Program!
Videos Coming
BCF is excited about expanding the Awards Reception to include Scholarship Award Recipients and the Youth Advisory Council program, which has also evolved into a strong program. Scholarship Award Recipients will be announced soon!
Combined, the community gathering will create an intergenerational audience where:
- Young adults will be introduced to community leaders. They will see firsthand how one individual or group can have a highly impactful impact.
- Our traditional reception attendee demographics will get a glimpse of the younger generation thriving and being involved in community-focused programming.
The Heart of Broomfield Awards, now in its 23rd year, has always been well-promoted so the community knows when to submit nominations. However, BCF doesn't always receive category-specific submissions or just one. By shifting the number of awards to three this year, we believe the awards will be more meaningful to the awardees and the community. With the additional programs integrated into the Awards Reception, the event will be 90 minutes long, which is what most individuals can manageably dedicate.
BCF and the Broomfield Enterprise is in the midst of interviewing and video recording Award Recipients and their nominators; we look forward to sharing their inspirational stories with you at the Awards Reception and on the Heart of Broomfield Awards webpage.
