He was predeceased by a son, Alan Katten, and a brother, Henry Katten.


Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, at 1:30 p.m., at B'nai Tikvoh Sholom Cemetery, 10 Club House Road, Windsor.


Shiva will be held immediately following burial and also on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, from 4:30-7:30 p.m., with minyan at 7:00 p.m., at the home of Stuart & Beth Katten, 20 Hammick Road in West Hartford.


Memorial donations may be made to the General Fund at The Emanuel Synagogue or to B'nai Tikvoh-Sholom in Bloomfield.
