December is officially upon us! If you're anything like me, this statement has sent you into a bit of a panic. Fear not! The chaos and busyness of the season can tend to make us feel overwhelmed, but it's also an excellent opportunity to slow down and remember to seek our Heavenly Father for His perfect rest.
Matthew 11:28-30 says:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
If you find yourself feeling weary and burdened this holiday, make sure to take some time to reflect on the real reason for the season, seek Him and find rest for your soul.
