Struggling to Stay on Track with School Summer Reading Lists?
Our children are given summer reading lists to keep them practicing reading comprehension skills and hopefully provide awareness of other worlds or ways of living. However, it can be difficult to get our children to want to engage in their summer reading, and it often becomes a battle.
Teachers assign summer reading lists with a degree of flexibility, to allow students to follow their interests, but it can be difficult to motivate nonetheless. Then, once the student begins reading, how should they know what to get out of the text? Below are some suggestions of how to facilitate productive summer reading and hopefully begin the next school year on the right foot.

Tutoring can be done in the home, library, or online, and we can also do a combination if you will be traveling. Packages are flexible and do not expire, if you're not sure how much support your child may need. Our tutors strive to ensure that sessions are hands-on, fun, and engaging, and we customize our materials and methodology to meet the specific needs of each student.
We will continue to be available in home, in libraries, and online. All of our tutoring is customized, and we also have tutors with Special Education backgrounds and certifications; all of our tutors are experienced in implementing IEP/504 modifications.
