Key points to remember when doing the Bird Dog strengthening exercise:


  • keep you back flat
  • beware of hyper extending your back (just brings arms and legs to a level position)
  • create more challenge by holding the arms/legs up for a few seconds or more
  • don't do this excerise if you're in pain
