Native Oaks

We had 33 players step out on Saturday, April 7, to Native Oaks for our re-scheduled round due to rain. And it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. The course was in perfect shape.  However!!!! The greens had just been aerated, so it was a bit dicey putting. But, hey, everyone was in the same boat.

Our Game of the Day was Even Holes. This round also counted for the Players’ Cup. The winners for our Low Net Even Holes game are:

The winners of the Game of the day received: 1st place—a $20 Golf Mart Gift Card, 2nd place—a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card and CTTPs for Hole 3 - a sleeve of Golf Balls, and Hole 13- a $10 Golf Mart Gift Card.

Players Cup Update

We are now five events into the highly competitive 2024 season. Below, you'll find the top 12 players in both the Gross and the Net Division. All players are eligible, and as this is a Midweek event, only 1/2 of the regular points are allocated, adding to the challenge.

Gross Division:

Stacey Hayashi eats into the lead of Deb Finlon, reducing it from 20 to 14 by earning 6 points with her 3^rd place finish at the Vineyard. Kim Greco drops to 3^rd place, still 19.5 back from Deb. Denise Nelesen moves up from 8^th place to 4^th. But Margaret Ashwell makes the biggest move by jumping from 16^th to 10^th and a spot on the top 12 with her score of 86 coming in tied for 1^st with Cathy Wright. 

Net Division:

Cathy Wright made the big move in this division by winning low net of the day in the midweek at Vineyard with a net of 68. She moves to 9^th place from T42 with 12.5 points for 1^st place. The only other move was Denise Nelesen and Stacey Hayashi switching places, with Denise moving up to 2^nd, with a slightly better finish moving Stacey to 3^rd in the net game.
