Barrington Park District Announces Construction and Facility Closures | The Barrington Park District is set to begin construction on August 12, resulting in new traffic patterns and parking adjustments. During this period, the Outdoor Pickleball Courts, Skatepark, Langendorf Aqualusion Pool, playgrounds between the Langendorf Aquatic Center and Fitness and Recreation Center, Splashpad, F Shelter, and adjacent parking lots will be closed. Additionally, there will be no access to The Dreamway Trail from Langendorf Park. The bridge to the Shops at Flint Creek will remain open from The Dreamway Trail only. Citizens for Conservation Recognized Volunteers at Annual Meeting | Citizens for Conservation recently celebrated their volunteers at the annual meeting, acknowledging over 12,000 volunteer hours contributed last year, including 37 "Mighty Oak" awardees who each volunteered 50 or more hours.
