Exciting new project!

National DEC has received a $1 million grant through BJA for a virtual reality training curriculum. We are calling this project: Bluebird. Bluebirds are a symbol of hope. Over the next 3 years we will work with partners nationally to develop and pilot the training. We look forward to sharing updates along the way!

New data being collected around children impacted by parental substance misuse.

THANK YOU ALL!!

DEC Awareness Day 2024 was an outstanding success!

Across the nation, DEC Alliances, organizations, groups and individuals found ways to bring awareness to drug endangered children on April 24, 2024.

We loved seeing all the posts on social media throughout the day. From the chalk art representing HOPE, to wearing RED, to holding conferences and trainings, getting proclamations signed, participating in the Brown Bag Series and All Hands on DEC calls and so much more! Check out our social media from that day and week to see some of the amazing things you all participated in (and start planning ideas for next year)!

Here are just a few pictures from DEC Awareness Day 2024.
